Widely known as Tun Laila, she builds her name even before she was called to the bar. Fully utilising the social media platform during her chambering years have garnered the public’s confidence in her insightful explanation on various legal issues in Malaysia. Graduated from UiTM Shah Alam with Bachelor of Laws, she refused to quit learning and is pursuing her Postgraduate Diploma in Syariah and Practice in order for her to encourage the youngsters to prioritise education, as an effort in educating the public through her social media platforms. A young lawyer who proves that being a junior in legal industry does not mean that one is weak, but could possibly be someone who bridges the gap between the law and public and also capable in becoming a trusted voice among Malaysians on law, justice and digital responsibility.

Starting her legal career specialising in Immigration Act dan Dangerous Drugs Act, she deals with foreigners and local clients all by herself, from interviewing the clients to representing the clients in the court of law. Equipped with legal knowledge and advocacy skill has made her easy in objecting remand for her clients. Being familiar with police and other government servants, where she is vocal on standing for the victims of oppression. She is also resilience in facing any sorts of criticism and threat, for as long as she stood her grounds.

She polished her advocacy skills through ATIPSOM and SOSMA cases, from assisting in preparing the trial, examination in chief, cross examination and re-examination questions, objecting the opponent and prepared a submission for the main case, even in appeal cases. A steadfast and small young lawyer who holds legal knowledge in SPRM case where she deals directly with SPRM body to ensure that her client walks as a free man. She further embarks on constitutional law and various fields under civil litigation such as contracts, medical negligence and mainly defamation as she holds a large social media presence, attracting social media influencers and public figures to have her as their legal counsel.
